BOOKINGS POLICY.

Thank you for booking with us at The Flints.

Here is your important information about our bookings and cancellations policies. Please read this literature and do not hesitate to contact us with any concerns or questions.

Deposits

20% deposit payment is required to confirm a booking, bookings will not be taken without a deposit.

50% deposit payment is required if booking is made within 14 days of stay.

Potential bookings 'Penciled in' will be held for 48 hours and released unless booking is confirmed and deposit paid. If we receive no confirmation when the 48 hours is up, we will release those dates without notice.

ALL ( The initial 20%) Deposits are NON RETURNABLE.

However, deposits are transferable to another date for the same year, please note, these changes will require a small amendment fee ( see further below)

Payment plans

After the 20% deposit is paid you are more than welcome to make regular payments in advance of your stay, any payments made after the 20% deposit are fully refundable according to our cancellation policy. It would be wise practice to inform us when you’ve made payments, so we can keep up to date.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Life gets hectic, we understand. We do however operate a cancellations policy to protect The Flints and to make sure no precious booking space is wasted for other families. If cancellation is requested by you, your refund will be issued with these terms.

Full refund (minus the original 20% deposit) made if cancellation occurs 14 days before arrival date.

A total of 50% refund ( including deposit of 20%) if cancellation occurs between 13-7 days before arrival.

No refunds if cancellation occurs within 6 days before arrival.

Full refund however will always be given if a doctor’s evidence letter is provided for medical emergency/bereavement

AMENDMENT FEE

We have a small amendment fee of £5 applicable each time a date is changed

BREAKAGES AND DEEP CLEANING

We do not currently retain a ‘Damage deposit’ from our guests, however, we do reserve the right to charge for breakages or deliberate and damages and excessive cleaning/smoking in the rooms. We strongly advise referring to our ‘Terms of conditions of stay’ you can request to view this before you commit to booking.

REFUNDS

Any refunds owed will be issued within 5-7 business days.

Evening meals.

If you book via referral and would like to add any meals ( optional) the additional costs is £5 per head per meal.

DIVERSITY STATEMENT.

Guests from all backgrounds, communities, faiths and cultures are equally welcomed and will be treated with respect.

Because we are family friendly, and may have people visiting from the recovery community, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing alcohol or drugs onto the property.

ACCESABILITY STATEMENT.

The Flints is a traditional Victorian style building with steep stairs and no sleeping accommodation and no bathroom facilities on the ground floor, therefore, we suggest this building isn't suitable for those with mobility issues, sorry.

UNFORTUNATELY WE DO NOT ACCOMODATE ANY PETS.

ALCOHOL.

Members of the recovery community both live here and visit here, to help us keep this place safe and welcoming, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing alcohol or drugs onto the property. We really appreciate your understanding.

PLEASE bring your own beach towels for Sandcastles and the beach. We politely ask that our Bath towels are not removed.

WASHING.

We are happy to wash your wet beach towels and/or do a load of washing for you.

Additional cost is £3 a load, there's also local launderette a 5 mins walk.
